Louisiana State University Houma-Thibodaux (LSUH-T) offers numerous degree programs from the Bachelor's level to the doctorate level, including those that lead to professional degrees such as the Juris Doctor (JD). In addition to providing a world-class academic experience with engaging coursework, professors and staff, LSUH-T is dedicated to providing competitive and accessible prices for our students. LSHT’s tuition fees and associated fees are competitive and affordable as compared to other four-year universities.

LSUH-T offers tuition waivers, scholarships, and financial aid to qualifying students. Merit-based scholarships and grants at LSUH-T give qualified students the opportunity to save on tuition. Our tuition rates are based on student residency. Students who are residents of Louisiana receive the in-state tuition rate. Students from the contiguous states of Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas qualify for the back-door tuition rate. Tuition rates for out-of-state and international students are higher.

LSUH-T's graduate tuition is also based on student residency. In-state students pay a lower tuition rate than out-of-state students. Furthermore, any student studying online pays a separate tuition rate which is lower than the residential tuition rate. For doctoral programs, the tuition rate is based on the number of credit hours taken per semester.
